Out of the frying pan and into the fire

w/Dahlia

8 minutes

Dahlia wakes in the Hunter's basement, her arms are strictly bound behind her with ropes running from her wrists to her elbows crushing her arms painfully together. She is in a chair and her neck is tethered to a ring. She struggles to her feet and with numb fingers works the knots of the tether rope free of the ring. She must escape the basement, she crosses over to a doorway, she can hear birds chirping on the other side but it is barred with a piece of wood. She works the wooden bar out of its place and struggles to open the door. She peers up the hatchway and starts to ascend the steep wooden stairs to freedom. Once outside she finds that she is inside a fence. She rushes over to the gate but finds it is latched on the outside and with her arms tied as tightly as they are she couldn't hope to reach the latch. She hurries over to the vehicle gate but finds that this too is chained and locked. Dahlia is frantic, she needs to free her arms if she is too get over the fence and freedom. She sees a garage and tentively opens the door, maybe she could find something to cut herself free with inside. Once inside the garage she finds some tools and a box cutter on a shelf, she tries to cut herself free with the blade but her fingers are too numb. She is frantic now but before she gets a chance to free her hands the Hunter discovers her and grabs her. He drags her over to a block of wood and forces her up onto it. He then places her neck in a noose and tightens it. Dahlia struggles to maintain her balance but he ties her ankles. She knows this is the end as he leaves her there tettering on the unstable block in five inch heels.
